LiebsterAward3I have been award the Liebster Award now a total of three times from some fantastic bloggers I have “met” on since starting Compass & Fork in June. So a thanks to:

The Traveling Gals- This is a wonderful blog with three generations of women from the same family working together on a blog. I love it. All angles are covered.

Cess Here and There- London based adventurer who loves travels, animals, food, fitness, environment and a couple of weirder things! You can find a wide variety of topics on he blog.

Kid Friendly Europe 101- A great blog featuring you guessed it, kid friendly activities in Europe.

What you are wondering is the Liebster Award? It is an award given from one blogger to another. A way to make connections, help your readers and fellow bloggers get to know you better, and establish yourself in the world of blogging. It also is a way to support other bloggers. Most of our readers of blogs are not bloggers, so trust me when I tell you it takes an incredible amount of effort to publish a high quality blog which readers enjoy and share with their friends.

The word liebster has German origins. The word “liebster” has several definitions: dearest, sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, welcome, sweetheart etc.

So what is involved, each nominee is asked to answer 10 questions and then nominate 10 fellow bloggers. As the person nominating you get to ask the questions of the next round. (Full rules are listed below with my nominees and questions)

So without further ado, the questions and answers. (Warning: by the time I answer all these questions you are going to know a lot more about us. Us is myself, and my blogging partner and husband Mark.

I am answering the questions in order of nomination.
